Safe from Relegation?

Luton and Sheffield Utd are so terrible, to an extent not seen since Derby 2008.
Burnley and Bournemouth are barely any better.
So with 13 points, plus fixtures against Burnley twice, home fixtures against Luton and Bournemouth and away at SU to be played surely meaning 12-15 more, are we in effect safe already?
I cannot see Luton or SU getting 20 points. Can’t see Bournemouth or Burnley getting 25
Clearly not our ambition etc, but was looking at the table and thinking this has to be amongst the earliest that there is no real prospect of being dragged in.

FFS, why do we always think about relegation before anything else? I know we struggle in many seasons but enjoy the decent start as it may not last.
As to relegation never say fucking never, but you are right some proper dog shit hanging around the bottom of the table, Everton to survive again i expect and they are shit, any other season and they would be gone.
Mind you expect a few of our fans to be a tad gutted at our start, they want Moyes gone more than anything and right now its looking like a new contract will be offered!!! Rather than the P45................

Yeah, doubt we'll be in a relegation battle this year, but the idea that 4 teams will end up with less than 25 points is ridiculous really. The previous lowest points total for the 17th place team has been about 34 points and I doubt that Bournemouth or Burnley will end up with less than that.

No fucking way are three of Everton, Luton, Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United making up 10 points on us.
Something would have to go drastically wrong for us to drop that far. Like a fire sale and a crazy injury crisis.

Clearly you will be having a bet on their points spread then. Burnley and Bournemouth are around the 37 point mark, Luton and Sheffield 25 points.

Burnley and Bournemouth will both get well beyond 20 points. Probably closer to 40.
We just need a couple of injuries like most teams outside the rich clubs for us to nosedive. It would take a lot of bad luck but yes we could still go down. Not likely though.
